Esther: Aventura, Florida, United States; I am 36 years old and originally from Haiti. I am very happy to chronicle my weight loss journey through surgergy (vertical sleeve gastrectomy) and to share it will all of you. Having surgery was not an easy decision but a necessary one at this point in my life. I honestly feel that I am embarking on the BEST year of my life. To regain my shape, my health, my confidence, my self-esteem, that pep in my step and, most of all, that feeling of complete freedom from living inside this obese body are just some of the most priceless rewards of the road ahead...
